How do I define Developmental Coaching?<\/h1>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t

Life is a constant developmental process in every area of life. The absolute essence of our being is based on experiencing and developing. We make new experiences of any kind and grow through them. Progress \u2013 or development \u2013 is our motivation. If we lack goals or potential for development, we often feel empty and demotivated. Typical signs of a developmental standstill are that we:<\/p>\n

\u203a make no headway in certain areas of life,
\n\u203a feel lonely,
\n\u203a feel like we will never reach our dreams\/visions,
\n\u203a struggle with (latent) dissatisfaction,
\n\u203a are often unhappy,
\n\u203a see no perspective,
\n\u203a struggle with health issues,
\n\u203a maneuver ourselves into the same undesired situations time and again,
\n\u203a see no way to evolve,
\n\u203a believe that our situation is other people\u2019s fault, and we can or will not take responsibility,
\n\u203a are convinced that we are who we are and cannot change our character traits,
\n\u203a chase a potential,
\n\u203a live in unsatisfactory relationships,
\n\u203a are involuntary long-time singles or stumble from one unhappy relationship to the next,
\n\u203a remain in an unsatisfactory job,
\n\u203a generally don\u2019t get going.<\/p>\n

The only and sustainable way to break those destructive dynamics is to evolve as a person. To put it simply: We can only achieve a higher \u00ablevel of life\u00bb if we have understood and solved the challenges and issues in our way. Only then can more fitting partners, new friends, a more interesting job etc. appear in our lives.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR US TO RECOGNIZE THE CAUSES FOR OUR BEHAVIOR IN CERTAIN AREAS OF LIFE?<\/h1>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t

We humans are equipped with a subjective perception and see reality through a perceptive filter. This filter is dynamic and builds on external influences and impressions as well as the resulting experiences and insights (dogmas). To put it another way: Every human being possesses their own reality. This can be seen as being at the mercy of our subjective filter, as we often do not even notice it (it is what it is). Therefore, we experience our lives through a filter that continuously distorts the objective reality. We create our own truth and believe for example that it is normal for us to be unhappy or to be simply unable to have a relationship.<\/p>\n

Confronted with this subjective reality, it is easy for us to get caught in our own perception and subliminally accept the unwanted reality. This can lead to resentment and even a depression.<\/p>\n

Because the feelings and thoughts that we experience due to reality can be reflected, we are not at the mercy of our own truth. My approach is to make these thoughts, feelings and the underlying needs conscious and derive the necessary changes from them.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
